Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Ortomate Ltd., 12 Jessie Street, Wellington, New Zealand. By creating an account or using eval.dog you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction.
2. The service
eval.dog lets you create prompts, add examples, write checks, and run those checks against the outputs your prompt produces. Model outputs and judge answers are generated by third-party AI models and are provided as-is: they can be wrong, and they are not advice. You are responsible for how you use the results.
3. Your account and content
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in method secure. You retain ownership of the prompts, examples, and checks you create. You grant us the rights needed to store and process that content to provide the service (including sending it to our model provider to run your evals).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use eval.dog to break the law, infringe others' rights, attempt to bypass plan limits or security controls, or generate content that violates our model provider's usage policies. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Plans, billing, and limits
Paid plans are billed monthly in USD via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a monthly cap of model calls; unused calls don't roll over. You can cancel anytime and keep paid features until the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely we'll give you reasonable notice to export your data.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
